About me << |
|
 |
I
am Josip Jovanovic and I was born on 29 March 1972. Happily married
to Szylvia, I am the father of a baby girl called Laura.
In 1982 I lost my left lower leg in a train accident. Many things
in my life have taken a new turn since but one thing will always stay
with me: |
My
drive to excel in sports. I played soccer until 1996. Then, in search
of new challenges, I started taking up athletics with great enthusiasm
and success.
Here are some of my achievements:
| Multiple
Bavarian Champion: |
100m
and 200m dash |
| Multiple
German Champion and runner-up: |
100m
and 200m dash |
| Gold
at European Championship; |
4x400m relay (2001) |
| Silver
at European Championship: |
4x100m relay (2001) |
| 4th
place European Championship: |
100m dash (2001) |
| Bronze
at World Championship in England: |
4x100m
relay (1998) |
My
primary goal now is a time of less than 12 seconds in the 100m dash.
